The best and nicest tour guide you will find!All our tours started on time and our wishes were always taken into account. No unnecessary stops at any vendors to buy souvenirs.We were always free to make our own decisions on our excursions.He was super nice and friendly and explained everything to us very well! Even when driving past, he always gave exciting facts about the surrounding area and the people there.The value for money was great!If we come to Sri Lanka again, we will definitely do our tours here again!

We were in Sri Lanka in March 2020 and were really looking forward to trips with Bob. Unfortunately, the Corona crisis threw a spanner in the works. But we had a really great trip. The city of Galle was very beautiful and Bob made everything possible for us to see at least a few turtles. Dear Bob, we’ll be back and catch up on everything 🙂 Thank you very much!

We were in Kalutara in December and because of good recommendations on HolidayCheck we contacted Bob from Mangolanka. We were very satisfied. He responded to our wishes and so we were able to experience our tour individually. Like him, his driver was very nice, competent and attentive. We learned a lot about the country and people. We were in kalutara in January 2019. Due to the good reviews, we contacted Bob and received a prompt reply. We did 3 day trips and these were very individually designed. Traveling with Bob is an experience….only to be recommended

I really liked it for the first time in Sri Lanka, later we met Chatura, a cool type, showed many local attractions, took him to European-level restaurants, very kind and helpful, exchanged rooms with him for the future, we will contact him if we return, very satisfied!

We booked four full day tours (in English) with Bob via email at Mango Lanka Tours. We did a tour to Kandy to the Temple of the Tooth, botanical garden and tea factory, a tour to Galle to the fort, to the river safari in the mangroves of Bentota, to the turtle farm and gemstone factory, another tour to the Udawalawa National Park – to feed around 30 baby elephants and a jeep safari lasting several hours – and to Mirissa for whale watching. All tours were well organized, individual and tailored to our wishes, the handling worked perfectly and we felt well looked after from the start!

My partner and I had a wonderful and unforgettable time in Sri Lanka thanks to Bob!He put a lot of effort into planning the tours and responded individually to our wishes. In addition, he showed us things and made stops that we would never have seen or made with other guides. He speaks German very well and explained and told a lot during the tours so that we could get to know the country of Sri Lanka even better!We will definitely book our tours with him again on our next trip to Sri Lanka!We were in the Hotel Turyaa, his office is about 70m further on if you go right out of the hotel next to a tailor’s shop behind the tracks. We became aware of Bob through the HolidayCheck review and went over there on the first day. There we met Bob’s sister (she owns the tailor shop), who immediately invited us to wait at her house, she called Bob for us and he came right away.Many beach boys pretend to be Bob or say they know Bob and work for him. But that’s not true, Bob does everything himself and has no other employees!!Bob was there with all his heart on all trips and there was also a little surprise for us when we left, which he personally brought to the hotel.We can recommend him with a clear conscience!Thanks Bob for the wonderful time!Thanks Bob for everything!

Our tour guide Bob gave us a very very nice trip to the falls near Kalutaras. Unfortunately, we only got to know him at the end of our holiday, but this gives us the opportunity to compare with other tour guides and beach boys. Bob from Mangolanka Tours takes his time, answers all questions and shows you Sri Lanka through the eyes of the locals. During his tours you can tell how much heart he puts into it and so we can only warmly recommend him!!!He is either standing at his tuktuk in front of the Hotel Turyaa in Kalutara or he is in his office. This is about 70 meters down the road on the right as you exit the hotel. We wish you a nice holiday and have fun with Bob from Mangolanka Tours 😊

The value for money was great!
You will NOT find Bob on the beaches of the hotels where the Beach Boys hang out, but on Samanthana Road. It is best to just contact him via WhatsApp or email.
We drove to Galle with Bib, to the Udawalawe National Park and did a TukTuk tour to the Makeli Falls. All three tours were just beautiful!
If we come to Sri Lanka again, we will definitely do our tours here again!
Wir haben uns auf Grund vieler positiver Bewertungen auf die Suche nach Bob begeben.
Bob hat uns sehr gut bezüglich verschiedener Ausflugsmöglichkeiten beraten. Wir haben dann einen Ausflug nach Bentota mit Marktbesuch, Tempelbesichtung und baden gemeinsam erleben können. Wir hatten jederzeit die Möglichkeit noch Zwischenstopps einzulegen und auch all unsere Fragen hat Bob ausführlich erklärt.
Bob kann super Deutsch und versucht die Wünsche seiner Kunden direkt zu erfüllen auch gibt er direkte Rückmeldungen zu den Ausflugswünschen ob diese sinnvoll sind.
Leider konnten wir nur 2 Ausflüge wahrnehmen, da wir uns bereits am Ende unseres Urlaubes befanden. Wir wollen aber auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und eine individuelle gemeinsame Rundreise planen.

Aufgrund positiver Bewertungen im Internet haben wir Bob von Mango Lanka Tours bereits vor der Reise per email kontaktiert. Er hat uns dann passend zu unseren Wünschen Vorschläge gemacht. Schließlich haben wir 3 Touren (inklusiv einer 2-Tages-Tour)mit ihm gemacht und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Preise waren günstiger als die vom Reiseveranstalter im Hotel. Bob ist sehr zuverlässig und pünktlich und geht auf individuelle Wünsche ein.Er hat eine Reiseleiterlizenz und kann Deutsch. Auch sein Fahrer ist sehr umsichtig gefahren.Neben einem Van für die großen Touren, steht auch ein TucTuc für die nähere Umgebung von Kalutara zur Verfügung, sowie ein PKW.
Auch das Hotel mittleren Standards auf unserer 2-Tagestour war super ausgesucht und hatte eine fantastische Lage im Hochland.
Da Bob keiner der “Beach Boys” ist , kann man ihn auch nicht am Strand antreffen. Er ist am besten über email oder whatsapp zu erreichen.
Die Kommunikation mit ihm über Whatsapp war sehr angenehm. Er hat sich immer kurzfristig gemeldet und gekümmert.

Wir waren in Sri Lanka, in Kalutara im Hotel Turyaa. Unsere Ausflüge haben wir bei Bob mit Mangolankatours gemacht. Er hat unsere 2 mal 2 tätige Ausflüge, super organisiert, Hotel waren sehr spitze. Informative Informationen haben wir bekommen. Nach Nachfrage, hielt er auch an, für Fotos oder zum Kaffee trinken, gerade was uns so eingefallen ist. Man konnte Ihn sehr gut verstehen, ein sehr herzlicher Mann. Gäste, die vom Strand Reisen gebucht hatten, waren nicht zufrieden. Wir empfehlen sich bei Bob mit Mangolankatours Ausflüge zu buchen. Skala von 1 – 10, würden wir auf jeden Fall die 10 geben.

Wir waren ende Juni bis Juli für 16 Tage im Hotel Turyaa Kalutara Waskaduwa. Da nach den Bombenanschlägen im Hotel nur 15 Zimmer (von ca. 200) belegt waren ist es am 3. Tag schon langweilig geworden. Also entschieden wir mehr Touren zu machen. Die FTI Reiseleiter versuchen mit aller Gewalt die Neuankömmlinge so schnell wie möglich zu treffen. Aber leider nicht um Sie kennen zu lernen oder Sie mit den Besonderheiten des Hotels bekannt zu machen sonder um Ausflüge zu verkaufen. Wir hatten uns in Deutschland schon schlau gemacht und für Bob von Mangolankatours entschieden. Da uns aber wie schon erwähnt der nette Herr von FTI sofort angesprochen hat und uns eine 1 Tagestour nach Udawalawa für 75€ (Preis für 6 Teilnehmer) angeboten. Der Preis erschien uns günstig und zusätzlich sollte noch Galle kurz besucht werden und eine Teefabrik besichtigt werden was normalerweise nicht zur Tour gehört. Dafür das wir die Tour buchen (da er unbedingt noch 2 Personen benötigte um den 6 P. Preis von 75 € machen zu können, denn 4 P. kosten 90€ und 2 P. 110€ p.P.) hat er noch versprochen das wir eine separate Galle 1 Tagestour in Verbindung mit Schildkrötenfarm und Mangrovenfahrt für 25€ statt normal 40€ pro Person buchen könnten. Das Fazit war die Tour nach Udawalawa war gut jedoch sein versprechen hat Er nicht eingehalten. Bei Bob wäre die Tour für 2 Personen schon günstiger wie 75€ gewesen. Danach haben wir noch eine 2 Tagestour und eine 1 Tagestour mit Bob gemacht und waren mehr als zufrieden. Es gibt also 3 Möglichkeiten Ausflüge zu machen 1. Mit demReiseveranstalter z.B. FTI, teurer, mehr Teilnehmer 2. Mit einem der vielen Beachboys (Messi, Sammy, Gunnar usw…), Preise wie bei BOB, beim Einkaufen wird man in teure Geschäfte gebracht von denen Sie später Provision bekommen, überall soll man Trinkgeld geben und die Fahrer fahren sehr Rasant 3. Mit Bob Mangolankatours , sehr individuell, günstig, super Fahrer, Bob ist ausgebildeter Reiseführer der Jährliche Kurse besucht, Er spricht gut Deutsch und ist immer bemüht es seinen Kunden recht zu machen. Für uns eine 100% Weiterempfhelung. Erreichbar ist Bob per WhatsApp Tel. +94 (77) 916 5492 oder in seinem Büro, aus dem Hotel raus, direkt vor den Gleisen nach rechts ca. 200m gehen (noch hinter dem Restaurant Red Snapper) und dann über die Gleise gehen “Mangolankatours”. Da Bob die Touren immer selbst bekleidet ist es am besten Ihn über WhatsApp zu kontaktieren Er wird sich dann melden. Aber bitte nicht enttäuscht sein Er wird sich erst melden wenn Er Internet hat was in Sri Lanka nicht wie bei uns überall verfügbar ist!
Wir waren im Jänner im Turyaa Wadduwa Hotel in Kalutara. Vorab haben wir aufgrund von positiven Bewertungen Kontakt mit Bob von mangolankatours.com aufgenommen. Wir erhielten prompt eine Antwort. Wir machten mit Bob 3 wunderschöne Ausflüge, die von ihm sehr individuell gestaltet wurden. Er ist pünktlich, geht auf jede Frage ein und zeigt einem auch Dinge die ein wenig abseits vom Tourismus sind. Wir würden Bob jeden weiter empfehlen, der gerne etwas Besonderes möchte. Der Preis passt, war wirklich perfekt. Zu erwähnen ist auch noch sein umsichtiger Fahrer, der einem bei der doch etwas für uns ungewohnten Verkehrslage, sicher ans Ziel bringt…..jederzeit wieder

The trips with him will remain in our memory for a long time. It was a very nice experience. There are no butter rides. The excursions are highly recommended, you take a lot with you from Sri Lanka.
Ich habe mit meiner Freundin und mehreren anderen Pärchen aus unserem Hotel verschiedene Ausflüge über Mango-lanka Tours gebucht: alle waren begeistert, denn der Reiseleiter Bob spricht reaktiv gut deutsch, geht während der Ausflüge auf individuelle Wünsche und hat absolut faire Preise! Kleiner Tipp: am besten die Ausflüge von Deutschland aus buchen, da Bob auch alle Ausflüge selbst begleitet und somit nicht immer vor Ort anzutreffen ist.

Bob, the owner of Mango Lanka Tours, offers customized tours in English, which he and his own excellent driver – who is very familiar with the very turbulent traffic – accompany.
We have a tour to Kandy to see the Temple of the Tooth, Botanical Gardens and Tea Factory, a tour to Galle to the Fort, River Safari in the mangroves of Bentota, Turtle Farm and Gem Factory, another tour to Udawalawa National Park – to feed the approximately 30 baby elephants and a jeep safari lasting several hours – and went to Mirissa for whale watching.
All tours were well organized, Bob is warm, always friendly, hard-working and courteous. We learned a lot about the country and its people and always felt comfortable and safe.
The tours start in the Kalutara area – due to the sometimes long travel times and the traffic – usually at 5 a.m. (Galle only at 8 a.m.) and we returned to the hotel in the evening with many impressions and great photos. Bob perfectly matched the schedule of the tours to our vacation, so that there was time to acclimatize and relax between the tours.
The tours to Galle, Kandy and Udawalawa were really unforgettable and we would book them again in a heartbeat. When we were whale watching in Mirissa, we had such strong seas that numerous passengers on the boat got seasick (that wasn’t so pleasant) – but we saw whales and dolphins and we liked that a lot 😊
Bob has a great network and insider knowledge, so we never had to queue. He had already organized a great guide for us at sights such as the Temple of the Tooth, at the River Safari our boat was already ready to board, the driver at the Jeep Safari guided us past all those waiting in advance…
An absolute recommendation! Always on time, reliable, hard-working, takes all wishes and suggestions into account and the individual tours offer many possibilities.
